The large common room with its long carved coconut poles houses the restaurant where meals are served and the bar.
The cuisine is family-friendly with copious dishes making the most of local produce.
Meals are taken together to favour the conviviality among the guests.

On Sundays, snacks and restaurants on the island of Rurutu are closed
The bar offers Hinano, Heineken and Tabu beers, wine, soft drinks, spirits (whiskey, bourbon appreciated by Americans, rum, digestive, ....), basic cocktails (maitai, pinacolada, chichi, margarita , ...) and the house specialty "Vaitumu".
Facilities and activities
In Vaitumu Village, wifi internet is only available in the common areas near the bar.
In Rurutu, internet and telephone connections may be disrupted.
There is no fiber on the island, and 4G is only available in Moerai village, 5 km from the guesthouse.

The Vaitumu Village is very well suited to families with children. The spacious garden serves as a large courtyard. The pretty sandy beach will also serve as a playground. No bathing possible in front of the guesthouse because of the current but presence of small natural basins to refresh. Large swimming pool on the property. Its is unsupervised so children are dependent on their parents exclusively.

Excellent Yes! Everything was perfect. One of the best vacations of my life !!! Hotels, particularly, the ones in Bora Bora where top notch. Yes. I would recommend Tahiti (beautiful), Bora Bora (super) and Rangiroa!
