The Tiki Toa players had offered to the population of French Polynesia good moments all along the Beach Soccer world Cup 2015 in Portugal. Once again, the Tahitian team has been appreciated from a lot of spectators due to their behavior inside and outside the field. Since the last Beach Soccer world cup and their 4th place, the Tahitian team has built a good reputation. This year, the Tiki Toa has shone again. They hoisted until the Final by defeating the following teams: Russia, Iran, Italy, Madagascar and Paraguay. Unfortunately, the Tahitian team lost 3-5 against the Portugal team. However, the Tiki Toa had fought until the last second of the competition and really deserves the title of vice world champion of Beach Soccer. In addition, two of their players have won awards. Indeed Torohia Jonathan has been elected best goalkeeper of the competition and Heimanu Taiarui best player of the World Cup 2015. Not only Tiki Toa had entered in the history of beach soccer but thanks to their performance, these Tahitian players have made the promotion of French Polynesia.
