Last Sunday around 1,000 people gathered in front of the High Commissioner of Papeete in order to pay tribute to the victims of the Friday, November 13, 2015 in Paris. A giant wreath was made for the gathering. The High Commissioner, Lionel Beffre was present to show his support. A minute of silence was made then French anthem started followed by the Polynesian anthem. Then people have wrapped the monument to the dead with the wreath while artists took the microphone to sing songs like imagine of John Lennon and Faafaite of Pepena.
