Guesthouse - Rimatara

Little cozy nest, located in the remote island of Rimatara, this small family lodge brings a lot to the charm of the island. The managers of the pension will welcome you in their comfortable and simple bungalows. Savoury meals, mostly prepared with local products, are taken all together within the main "fare" house. A variety of cultural activites is suggested everyday, hands-on, in order to discover the island the best possible way.

Cozy little bungalows located on the top of a small hill facing a panoramic view on the island. Each bungalows is equipped, comfortable with refined decor. All bedsheets are embroided with the red parakeet, rare native bird from Rimatara.

Dining - Entertainment features

Meals are served within the main dining chalet located down the little hill, next to the main family house

07h00 am - 08h300 am: Continental Breakfast
Fresh fruit juice (home grown papaya, coursop, banana) Coffee from Rimatara, bread, butter, home made jelly and hot crepes - all fruits are being grown in the local garden

07h00 pm to 08h300 pm: 3 courses Dinner
Entree + main dish + dessert. Meals are mainly based on deep sea fish such as tuna or "tazard" prepared raw, grilled or steam with home grown vegetables or rice.
Desserts are prepared home made with local fruits

The dinner ends up with Aline, charming her audience with fun entertainments

No bar, as the guest house is not allowed to sell alcohol.
Customers can buy their own alcohol from the grocery shop.

The easiest way to visit is to borrow the bycicles from the guest house or stroll along the pathways

There are no particular equipment for children however the guest house, along with some of the activities suggested are real fun for children

The guest house is located in Anapoto's village, about 5 min driving distance from the airport
The nearest grocery shop is located 10mn walking distance from the lodge
For each arrival and departure, all guests receive a typical beautiful and perfumed Austral flower lei.

Excellent Yes! Everything was perfect. One of the best vacations of my life !!! Hotels, particularly, the ones in Bora Bora where top notch. Yes. I would recommend Tahiti (beautiful), Bora Bora (super) and Rangiroa!
