Sales Terms & Conditions

Clarification on the rates presented in your itinerary:

  1. Our rates are in Euro, inclusive of taxes.
  2. The rates are valid on the dates specified in your itinerary.
  3. Greetings at the airport and upon international departure include the following services:
- Flower lei and seashell necklace
- Delivery of your travel documents: hotel and transfer vouchers, inter-island flight tickets, itinerary
- Baggage handling.
  1.   Round trip transfers between the airport and the hotel are compulsory on all the islands, except Tahiti.
  2. Hotel rooms are officially ready for check-in between 1:00pm and 3:00pm. Check-out is between 11:00am and 12:00pm. Do not hesitate to request an early check-in or late check-out of your room. This service cannot always be guaranteed as they rely on hotel availability. It may also involve an extra cost.
  3. Please note that a city tax of 200 cfp / person and by night will be billed directly by the hotel. This tax only applies on the islands of Tahiti, Moorea, Bora Bora, Tahaa, Huahine, Tikehau and Rangiroa.

Booking and payment:

  1. A 10% deposit is requested upon booking for any quote over 1,000€. If you also book your international flights through us, payment in full of the latter will be requested within 7 days from initial booking, in order to issue your airline tickets. Payment can be made by credit card via a secured payment website or wire transfer. (Please note that all related fees for the wire transfer will be at your expense and that wire transfer payment only applies when your arrival is more than 45 days from your booking date.) In both cases please provide copies of all passengers’ passport by fax, or scan a copy by email. For any quote of an amount not exceeding 1,000€, payment in full is requested at the time of booking.
  2. Some of our partners may have different sales terms than ours. These will be sent to you with your quote.
  3. The last name and first name of all travelers (as printed on your passport) such as your international flight information (arrival date and time in Tahiti, departure date, flights, airline) must be passed on to us as well.
  4. A detailed confirmation of the booked services will be sent to you together with a form allowing us to debit your credit card for the balance due. Final payment of the balance of your trip is demanded 30 days before your arrival in Tahiti.
  5. In case of an arrival less than 30 days, payment in full for your stay is requested in order to confirm the various services using the attached credit card payment form.
  6. Failing to receive payment in due time, all bookings will automatically be canceled further to a prior warning notice to your email address.
  7. Your travel documents (air ticket, vouchers and itineraries) will be handed to you directly by one of our guides upon your arrival at Faa’a’s International Airport. The guide will wait for you by the Tahiti Nui Travel desk located opposite international arrivals.
 
Trip cancelation, postponement and refund
 
  1. Any cancelation or postponement request should be notified in writing by email or fax. A confirmation of receipt will be sent by our services within one working day. Should you not receive it during this timeframe, please contact us immediately by phone.
  2. In case of trip cancelation or postponement, a 25€ fee per person will apply. The balance of payment already taken care of will be reimbursed in full.
  3. In case of cancelation or postponement between 7 to 15 days before your actual arrival date, a 25% fee of the total price of your trip will be retained.
  4. In case of cancelation or postponement less than 7 days before your actual arrival date, no refund will be made.
  5. Some of our partners may have different cancelation and refund terms. These will be transmitted to you at the time of your booking.
  6. We strongly recommend that you subscribe to a cancelation clause in your travel insurance, either in your country or through us.
  7. Any claim or refund request should be notified with a maximum delay of 7 days.
 
Comments on Air Tahiti Nui international flights:

  1. e-tickets will be issued for the Air Tahiti Nui flights only when there is no other existing flight reservation.
  1. All prices are in euros (€).
  2. Booking and issuing air tickets by Tahiti Nui Travel must occur more than 21 days before the date of your international departure.
  3. Payment in full should be received in order to issue your air tickets. The airfares are subject to changes before being issued (potential fuel taxes or airline taxes).
  4. International flight tickets are issued once the booking is confirmed and not on the stand-by list.
  5. Changes are allowed after the air tickets have been issued and while their period of validity with an extra fee of 18,000 xpf (150€) per passenger. 
  6. Cancelation is allowed after the air tickets have been issued with an extra fee of 30,000 xpf (250€) per passenger. The tickets should be with Tahiti Nui Travel to proceed with the refund.
  7. No Show: in case of no show while boarding, no refund will be granted.
  8. These rates are available until 31 December 2015 being the starting date of the season.
  9. These rates are available for round trip flights only (for a one way ticket, please contact us).
  10. Air tickets have a validity of 6 to 45 days from the departure date mentioned on the tickets.
  11. Infant and child airfares can be sent upon request. Infant will considered as not occupying a seat on the airplane.
  12. All airfares include airport taxes for Paris and Papeete.
  13. A stop-over may be allowed at no extra cost subject to your booking class.

Passports, visas and other administrative procedures:

Each traveler must hold a valid passport and / or any other document justifying his / her personal situation (French identity card, visa, family civil status book, exit permit to leave the country…) which should conform to the requirements to transit and / or enter French Polynesia.
 
It is recommended that your passport has a validity of more than 6 months at the date of the trip.

Given the diversity of possible situations and the feasibility of change with no prior notice by the relevant authorities, these pieces of information do not have any contractual dimension. In no case should we be liable for any of these changes. It is every traveler’s prerogative to ask for proper information with the relevant authorities.
Should these conditions not be met, the traveler may see boarding for the international flight denied or upon entry on the French Polynesian territory. No refund of travel expenses, allowance or penalty fees will be granted by our company.
 

Visa fees:

Potential fees to obtain a visa or apply for the ESTA while in transit in the USA are not included in your itinerary. They cannot be borne by our services and should be settled directly by the travelers to the relevant authorities.

Safety and health hazards:

We invite you to regularly check the relevant pages to keep up to date as the information may vary.
Some activities presented or transport conditions may be unadvised or forbidden to children, elderly travelers, anyone suffering from chronic diseases or pregnant women. It is recommended that each traveler questions competent healthcare professionals on the potential risks links to their trip and their health condition.
 
All information provided regarding safety and health hazards are not subject to a contractual dimension and in no case should our company be liable. It is every traveler’s prerogative to ask for proper information with the relevant authorities.
 
Change of general terms and conditions:

The general terms and conditions applicable are those in place the day of your trip reservation. Yestahiti reserves the right to change its general terms and conditions at any time and without prior notice. The changes, however, will have no retroactivity on any trip booked prior to the date of change of these terms and conditions.
